What is SleepCare?

Sleep Care is a comprehensive, outpatient Sleep Disorders Program designed to pinpoint, analyze and treat faulty sleep patterns in a variety of sleeping disorders.  Sleep Care is designed for adult patients and for children 13 years of age or older.

All of Sleep Care’s sleep labs and medical staff are qualified and setup to perform nocturnal polysomnograms (NPSG), a.k.a. night sleep studies, split-night polysomnograms, Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), a.k.a. daytime studies, Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MWT), CPAP titrations, BPAP titrations and oxygen administration and titrations. The equipment used is the most current, state of the art available, measuring up to 30 diagnostic parameters in real time. Sleep Care, Inc. sets itself apart from most other diagnostic companies by having all studies ready for interpretation by 8 am the morning the morning the study is completed.

Once data is gathered, tests are interpreted and a treatment plan is designed and administered by a sleep specialist.  Appropriate follow-up is an essential component of the therapy and the sleep specialist will be available to administer the treatment plan.

Enhanced Outcomes

Enhanced Outcomes is a follow-up program that is unique to SleepCare’s sleep centers. Here we record patient demographics, sleepiness and quality of life at baseline and track them throughout their sleep experience. This allows us to determine if the patient is seeing the appropriate benefits from their treatment. In the event that there are no improvements or a decline is seen, SleepCare will seek to intervene to make adjustments in prescriptions, equipment settings, masks or compliance. We then pass this report onto the referring physician so that they can view the overall effect of the sleep medicine process or assist is treatment.

The Sleep Technology Training Institute

SleepCare operates one of the first CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) accredited sleep technologist training programs in the country, The Sleep Technology Training Institute. This program equips students with the skills necessary to become registry eligible in just sixteen weeks. The Sleep Technology Training Institute and the experience it employs ensures a quality and educated technical staff throughout all of SleepCare’s facilities.

If you would like to enroll in our training program please contact jennifer@sleepcareinc.com and we will email an application and student handbook.
